KUCHING: The National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK) nabbed nine suspects aged between 19 and 50 during an operation around Betong on Wednesday (Oct 30).
Teams from AADK Betong District and AADK Sarawak jointly carried out the operation in areas known for drug-related activities.
In a press statement yesterday, AADK said urine tests conducted on the suspects were positive for syabu.
All were arrested under Section 3(1) of the of the Drug Dependants (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983.
AADK called on members of the public to report drug-related activities in their area.
