MIRI: Naim Clubhouse @ Naim SouthLake Permyjaya Miri is offering its swimming pool to the Miri Ability Service Association (MASA) for water therapy sessions for its physically challenged members.

Under this collaboration, MASA’s physically challenged members will be accorded special access to the pool.

Sited on a seven-acre site within the beautiful Naim SouthLake Permyjaya lakeside mixed development, Naim Clubhouse is Naim Group of Companies’ first clubhouse development in the region.

The clubhouse, offers many facilities including an Olympic- sized salt water swimming pool, dining outlet, multi-purpose hall, gym and sauna.

MASA president Boon Foo Ping said Naim Clubhouse is an ideal venue for water therapies to build physical strength, self-esteem and confidence for those living with disability.

“Naim Clubhouse is disabled friendly as it has disabled-friendly facilities and flat ground access without steep ramps or curbs. These features provide convenience for those using wheelchairs.

“We are indeed grateful for this offer by Naim Clubhouse as it will go a long way in helping us to support our physically challenged members,” he said.

Naim’s head of Corporate Communications Caroline Yeo said Naim has always strove to assist the communities within which the Group operates in ways it can.

“We are supportive of this initiative by MASA. Through this collaboration with MASA, we can play a role in helping those with physical disabilities by getting them more active and boost their morale.

“We look forward to having them and are honoured to be able to play a part in increasing the quality of life for people with disabilities,” she said.
