MP to request for new buildings for SK Kita in parliament

MIRI: The buildings of SK Kita in Niah are so dilapidated, they have to be replaced.

Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni who brought up the condition of the primary school said he will raise the need for new school blocks for the school in the next parliament sitting.

“I will request for new school building for SK Kita to be included in the 11th Malaysia Plan,” he said in his address at the school’s SEKATA’s Athletic Championship at the school’s field yesterday.

On the school’s sport meet, Lukanisman said the event is a platform to foster closer relationship between the school management the parents of the pupils.

He announced a grant of RM5,000 under his Minor Rural Project fund for the school’s parent teacher association (PTA) .

A total of 276 pupils took part in the school’s athletic event.

There were also games for PTA members and telematches for the pre-school pupils.

Also present was the school’s headmaster Ahmad Taip.
