SIBU: Pakatan Harapan (PH) has fulfilled 52 percent of the promises stated in its manifesto thus far, said Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) President Mohamad Sabu.

“We have achieved 52 per cent of the promises in our manifesto.

“Henceforth, of us from PH should hold meetings with the people, either on a big or small scale, to help people on the ground understand what we have achieved,” he said when addressing the ‘Memenuhi Harapan, Mendukung Aspirasi’ talk held at a hotel here last night.

Chairman of Amanah Sarawak Abdol Halil Saini, Palawan assemblyman David Wong and Chairman of Parti Keadilan Rakyat George Chen were among those present.

Mohamad, who is also defence minister, said the action is important as a step towards explaining the PH’s achievements to the people at the grassroots level.

On the party’s election plans in the coming state election, he said the Amanah would discuss with PH component parties to discuss the seat allocation, and special manifesto for Sarawak.

“By early next year there will be a state PH manifesto,” Mohamad explained.

He also called upon all members of the PH component party to work under one symbol.

“Peninsula Malaysia has changed and our victory in Sarawak has achieved quite good results in the last election.

“Hopefully the PH will continue to shine in Sarawak,” he said.

To date, the Amanah Sarawak has over 5,000 members.
