MIRI: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Hulu Rajang chief Abun Sui Anyit today denied that his branch was among the five branches which allegedly signed a petition seeking to oust Works Minister Baru Bian as the state PKR chief.

“Not true,” he said via WhatsApp when asked if Hulu Rejang was one of the branch chiefs that signed the alleged petition.

When questioned further, he said he did not know of such a move to oust Baru as state PKR chief.

See Hua Daily News reported today that all PKR branches in northern Sarawak, except for Lawas which is headed by Baru, have signed the petition.

According to the report, the branches involved are said to be Limbang, Sibuti, Miri, Baram and Hulu Rajang.

Meanwhile, PKR Baram chief Roland Engan said he was also unaware of such rumours.

“No idea,” he said in his short reply to The Borneo Post when contacted via WhatsApp.
