KOTA KINABALU: Heavy rainfall for several hours yesterday caused several areas here to experience flash floods.
Among the areas reported with flash flooding as a result of the continuous rain from 3 pm were Jalan Rugading, Jalan Inanam, Jalan Sepanggar, Jalan Indah Permai and several other areas.
Vehicles were also moving at a snail pace along 1Borneo Hypermall as that section of Jalan Sulaman was badly affected by flash flooding during rush hour.
Traffic, however, returned to normal by 7 pm after the rain had stopped and the water began subsiding.
