BINTULU: Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) won three awards during the State Civil Service Day 2019 held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on Wednesday.

They won in all three categories shortlisted – Excellence Enforcement Award (Gold Award for its Anti-Litter Campaign); Customer Management Award (Silver Award), and State Government Secretary Award (Bronze Award).

Representing BDA to receive the awards was its general manager Rodziah Morshidi.

“We will persevere and carry on with all the transformation efforts that have led to this success, and to bring better services to the Bintulu community,” she said.

She added that 2019 was their best year, which would motivate them to work harder to make the coming years even better.

“Special mention must be said on the Anti-Litter Campaign which won us a gold medal.

“Nevertheless, our journey is still long and winding, and we hope the people of Bintulu will work together with us to make Bintulu cleaner and better,” she said when asked to comment about their achievement yesterday.
