Muhammed Yusoff gives statement at Bukit Aman again

KUALA LUMPUR: Muhammed Yusoff Rawther presented himself for the second day at Bukit Aman to give his statement following allegations that he had been sexually assaulted by PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Muhammed Yussof arrived at about 12 noon and was seen leaving in a vehicle around 3.30pm.

Bukit Aman CID Prosecution and Legal Division principal assistant director SAC Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the man was called back to assist with the investigation and to complete the statements taken on Monday.

“Muhammad Yusoff was called back because we have not finished recording his statement,” he said when contacted by Bernama about the former staff of the PKR leader.

Mior Faridalathrash said several witnesses, including Muhammed Yusoff’s family, would also be called soon to assist in the investigation.

Muhammed Yusoff had previously been reported of making a sworn statement on the assault which allegedly took place on Oct 2, 2018 which Anwar denied. – Bernama
