MIRI: A man was found lying unconscious on the road at the back of a commercial centre at Piasau Road near Miri River Bridge yesterday morning.
Members of the public contacted the police at about 8am about the discovery of the body.
A police team was dispatched to the scene.
Paramedics from Miri Hospital who arrived at the scene later confirmed the victim died at the scene.
It is believed that the victim fell from the top floor of the building, but the police are conducting further investigation.
The body was later handed over to the police and taken to Miri Hospital mortuary for a post mortem.
