KUCHING: Three Chinese nationals have been quarantined at the Sungai Buloh Hospital after they tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad confirmed today that the three were among a group of eight Chinese nationals who were quarantined in a Johor Bahru hotel.
They have since been moved to Sungai Buloh Hospital for further treatment.
The three are also reportedly close with a 66-year-old patient that tested positive for the virus in Singapore.
This makes this the first confirmed detection of the novel coronavirus, or 2019-nCoV, in the country.
