KUCHING: Eligible Sarawakians, including those who are without bank accounts, can apply for the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) cash aid programme at 33 selected locations across the state.

The BSH applicants to want to update their personal information can also do so at these locations.

Under Zone 1 covering Bintulu, Miri and Limbang, the locations to go are the Bunga Raya Hall in Limbang on

Feb 4, Lawas basketball court (Feb 6), SMK Marudi hall (Feb 8), Beluru Community Hall (Feb 9-10), Long Lama Community Hall (Feb 12), SMK Sebauh’s Sri Kemena Hall (Feb 15), Bintulu Civic Centre (Feb 16-18), Tatau Sports Hall (Feb 20-21), Sungai Asap Community Hall (Feb 23-24) and Selangau District Office (Feb 26).

For Zone 2 (Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah and Kapit, the locations are Kie Ming Hall in Daro (Feb 4), Matu Civic Centre (Feb 5), Mukah Civic Centre (Feb 6), Balingian Community Hall (Feb 7), Stadium Perpaduan Dalat (Feb 8), Kanowit Civic Centre (Feb 11), Sibu Civic Centre (Feb 13-14), Kapit Civic Centre (Feb 15), Song Balai Raya (Feb 16), Pakan Community Hall (Feb 18) and Julau Community Hall (Feb 20).

For Zone 3 (Samarahan, Serian, Sri Aman and Betong), the locations are Lingga Community Hall (Feb 1), Sri Aman Sports Complex (Feb 3-4), Engkelili Community Hall (Feb 5), Lubok Antu Complex Hall (Feb 6), Betong Rentap Hall (Feb 8), Rahmaniah Hall in Pusa (Feb 9), Kabong Police Station Multipurpose Hall (Feb 11), Saratok Community Hall (Feb 13), Sebuyau Community Hall (Feb 22), Tebedu Community Hall (Feb 25), Serian Community Hall (Feb 26-27) and Dewan Mesra in Simunjan (Feb 29).

Each applicant must meet the requirements for BSH 2020; a person with disabilities (OKU) who meets the requirements of BSH 2020, but has not yet registered as an aid recipient under the Welfare Department (JKM), can apply for the BSH. The OKUs who are recipients of JKM aid need not apply.

Those who have received BSH 2019 and have met the requirements for BSH 2020, are not required to make new applications – unless there are some changes in their personal information.

Registration and updates of personal information for BSH 2020 can be made between today (Feb 1) and March 15.
