MUKAH: Bazaarnita Dalat will be an iconic building here when completed in July.
“The new building costing RM750,000 is expected to be completed before July 2020,” said Minister of Welfare, Community Well-being, Women, Family and Childhood Development Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah at the Handing Over of Construction Site to the contractor yesterday.
She said Pesta Balau will be held in July and the building must be completed for the start of the event, adding that Solidarity Park and the second phase of retaining wall along Dalat River must be completed as well.
According to Fatimah, the new building with unique features including the history of women doing business in Dalat would house entrepreneurs, particularly women entrepreneurs.
Fatimah who is also Dalat assemblywoman thanked Sarawak Energy Berhad for bearing the cost of moving the cables to the construction site and the decoration of Bazaarnita when completed.
