KUCHING: Sarawak companies are invited to participate in Malaysia Productivity Corporation’s (MPC) Industry Excellence Award (IEA) 2020, organised by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
Among other things, IEA 2020 offers a cash prize of RM500,000 for the winner of its top award category, the Prime Minister’s Award.
MPC Sarawak region director Sarimah Misman said companies which had participated in the Chief Minister’s Industry’s Excellence Awards (CMIEA) last year are especially encouraged to take part in IEA 2020.
“The criteria for IEA 2020 is the same as CMIEA 2019, thus we welcome their participation in the IEA 2020 at the national level,” she told the media after officiating the CEO Talk 2020 programme here yesterday.
The closing date for participation is April 30. — Bernama
