Two drug suspects arrested during the operation.
KOTA KINABALU: Four individuals were arrested by police for investigations under Section 39A(2) and Section 39A(1) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
District police chief ACP Habibi Majinji said the four suspects were among the 67 people arrested in their week-long anti-narcotic operation which was conducted in the state capital from Feb 8 to 14.
One of the individuals was arrested under Section 39A(2) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 while the remaining three under Section 39A(1) of the same Act, he said.
Habibi said among the areas the operation was conducted were Kampung Cenderamata 2, Inanam town and Sinsuran shoplots.
According to him, 50 of the suspects are locals and the rest are foreigners. The suspects are aged between 14 and 60 years old.
Police seized a total of 46.37 grams of syabu with a market value of RM6,955.50, he said.
