KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s civil servants can now apply for transfer to other departments using the e-Tukar online service which was launched yesterday.
They can also sit for examinations offered by the civil service online using the e-Peperiksaan.

According to Sabah State Secretary Datuk Safar Untong, these are the two latest digital innovations created for the State Government as it moves towards fully digitizing its services.

He added that the Sabah Government plans to go fully digital within five years.

“We have just started the endeavour to go digital this year. We have 150 projects with regards to this and we plan to achieve 50 per cent completion by July, this year,” he said.

He said that the two latest systems are expected to improve the work process through innovation.

A total of 4,388 Grade 19 state civil servants are expected to benefit from the use of the E-Peperiksaan.

Other similar project that had been implemented so far is the Sabah Pay, he said when launching the two new digital innovations for the Sabah Government.

Also present at the event was Sabah State Services director, Datuk Rosmadi Datu Sulai.
