MIRI: Sarawak PAS today called for Sarawakians to unite and give chance to the new Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to lead the nation.
Its commissioner Jofri Jaraiee said Sarawakians must put aside their political differences and work together towards developing the nation.
“Hopefully, the appointment of the new prime minister with the support of Sarawak government will bring many benefits for the people of Sarawak,” he said in a press statement today.
Jofri said more development projects would be implemented for the people in the state if there is a close relationship between the state government and federal government.
He also took the opportunity to urge the new federal government to provide more development projects for the people of Sarawak, particularly in providing basic amenities to the rural population.
“Let us focus on developing the country instead of continuing to play politics that do not benefit the people,” he said.
