KUCHING: Sarawak recorded nine new Covid-19 person-under-investigation (PUI) cases today, with seven under observation at the Sarawak General Hospital and two others at Miri Hospital.
From Jan 10 until 10.30am today, Sarawak has recorded a cumulative total of 167 PUI cases, of which 143 have tested negative for the virus.
An additional 24 cases are awaiting results from laboratory tests, a statement from the State Disaster Management Committee read today.
The Health Department has yesterday screened 13,774 arrivals to the state at all its airports, ports and land entry points.
