Estimated 350 participants of Seri Petaling Mosque in Sabah urged to get tested for Covid-19

Several participants have already come forward to be tested, though authorities are urging the remainder to do so.

TAWAU: An estimated 350 participants that attended a meeting at Seri Petaling Mosque, Kuala Lumpur on Feb 27 to March 5, 2020 are advised to get tested for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) at the Tawau Health Clinic should they exhibit any symptoms.

The notice came after Brunei Darussalam reported on Monday that one of the attendees was its first confirmed case of Covid-19.

All participants are also required to contact Tawau Area Health Officer Rahman Sampe at 016-4729314 for heath officers to gather data and hand them quarantine orders where they will be quarantined in their homes and monitored for 14 days.

It is learnt that the participants are from all over Sabah.
