Royal Brunei suspends Bintulu flights

RB said its last flights to Bintulu will be on March 14 ( Saturday).

MIRI: Following the decline in the air travel across the world due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid19) globally and various travel restrictions, the Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has announced the suspension of several flights to Malaysia.

In a statement posted on its website today, RB announced the indefinite suspension of the Bintulu route with the last flights operating on March 14.

RB also announced temporary flight suspension for the Brunei-Sibu route on March 4, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 14.

Also affected by the flight suspension is the Brunei-Kota Kinabalu route on March 7, 12, 18, 19, 25, 27, 29, 30 and 31 and  April 1.

As for Brunei-Sandakan route, the flights affected are those on March 9, 10, 14, 17, 21, 22, 24 and 28.

The dates affected for the Brunei-Tawau route are those on March 6, 8, 11, 13, 18, 25, 28, 29 and 30.

Meanwhile, the dates affected for the Brunei-Kuala Lumpur route are March 7, 9, 11, 14, 21, 24, 26, 27 and 31.

“To-date there has been no confirmed in-flight transmission of Covid-19 anywhere in the world,” said the airline.
