KUCHING: English and Chinese services of all Methodist churches in Sarawak are being suspended for two weeks from today (March 15).

In a message by Methodist Churches Sarawak Chinese Annual Conference (SCAC), it said the latest development is due to the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the state.

During this uncertain time, parishioners are urged to go online to attend service of various churches and conduct family worship at home.

“We also declare that today (March 15) is a day of fasting and prayer. Please pray fervently at home for God’s mercy,” it said in a statement.
