MIRI: Some 2,000 Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Ba Kelalan branch members have decided to leave the party following a meeting held yesterday.

According to PKR Ba Kelalan branch secretary James Tai, the members, including those from the women and youth wings, decided to leave the party after they have lost confidence with the party top leadership and the party new state leadership.

James said claimed that 2,000 members are from sub-branches in Ba Kelalan state constituency.

“We hereby pledge our full support, loyalty and trust to (former state PKR chairman and PKR Ba Kelalan branch chief ) YB Baru Bian and his team and await for our next political move and direction.

“With this, PKR Ba Kelalan Branch has ceased to exist,” he added.
