The Semenggoh Wildlife Centre (SWC) is limiting the number of visitors to 40 people per sighting effective today until further notice due to rising concerns of the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).

KUCHING: The Semenggoh Wildlife Centre (SWC) is limiting the number of visitors to 40 people per sighting effective today until further notice due to rising concerns of the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).

According to Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC), this was done to abide by the directive issued by the State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) stating all government and public gatherings involving more than 50 people be postponed.

“Children below the age of 12 years old and senior citizen above 65 years old are discouraged to visit SWC,” SFC said in a statement today.
