KUCHING: The movement control order must succeed in stopping the spread of Covid-19 because failure is not an option, said Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
“Failure is not an option here, otherwise, we might face the third wave of the virus.
“The next one will be as big as a tsunami, more so if we have a lackadaisical attitude,” he warned in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Dr Noor Hisham pointed out that there was a small window of opportunity to break the chain of Covid-19 transmissions.
“Please help the Ministry Of Health to play your part, as each and every one of us has the responsibility to take all the precautionary measures to keep ourselves and families safe,” he said.
Dr Noor Hisham pleaded for all Malaysians to take this movement control order seriously.
“Stay at home,” he stressed.
