SIBU: Pork dealers here will open only three days a week, starting March 26 to comply with the government’s directive to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Sibu Pork Dealers’ Association said in a press statement yesterday that pork will only be sold on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday until the situation returns to normal.

“Lots of restaurants and noodle stalls are not open. The association’s committee are also concerned about their own safety.

“With the consent of the Health Department of Sibu Municipal Council, they agreed to open until March 23 (Monday).

“Starting from March 26, it will only be open three days a week. Together we can fight the outbreak,” it said.
