22 new positive Covid-19 cases recorded in Sabah, total 158

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 22 new positive Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases today, making the total to 158 cases.

According to statistics released by Health and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung, Tuaran recorded the highest increase of six cases, bringing the total of positive Covid-19 case to 12 in the district, today.

Kota Kinabalu had the second highest increase with five cases, raising the area’s total to 22 cases, followed by three cases each in Sandakan, current total 11, and Tawau, maintaining as the district with the most cases at 40 individuals and the only death recorded in the state, thus far.

Ranau recorded its first two cases today, while one new case each was recorded in Lahad Datu (current total 33), Papar (total two), and Putatan (total four).

No new cases were recorded in Beaufort (total six), Kinabatangan (11), Kota Belud (five), Kunak (five), Semporna (one), and Sipitang (four) today.
