KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah is touched by the dedication shown by staff in his ministry in helping to fight the spread of Covid-19 and disseminating information to the public on the Movement Control Order (MCO).

In his posting on Twitter yesterday, Saifuddin said the ministry staff had gone to all the states to make public announcements and he urged the public to recognise the hard work they put in to increase awareness for the need to comply with the MCO which was first implemented on March 18.

“Looking at how dedicated my staff are in serving the country brings tears to my eyes. Acknowledge them in this video. We will continue to work hard to fight Covid-19,” he said in his posting which included a video of ministry staff talking about the MCO.

The two-minute-20-second video showed Information Department staff travelling to villages, housing estates and towns all over the country to explain the MCO.

The MCO has since been extended until April 14. — Bernama
