Namlifa targets 100 donors for July 19 blood donation campaign


MIRI: National Association of Malaysian Life Insurance and Family Takaful Advisors (Namlifa) Miri branch hopes to register 100 donors at its blood donation campaign from 8.30am to 1pm, July 19 at Malaysia Red Crescent (MRC) premises here.

“This annual campaign is one way we give back to society. We have contacted our members and others to come forward to support a good cause,” said organising chairlady Chang Len Yin when contacted by thesundaypost yesterday.

She added that as a token of appreciation, the association will give 1.5kg of rice and five facemasks to every successful donor and thanked sponsors for the rice.

On the day of campaign, Namlifa will present cash donation of RM2,256 collected from the association’s educational activities and public to MRC Miri Chapter.

Transport Minister
Datuk Lee Kim Shin handed over ten packs of 10kg rice to Chang at Sarawak United People Party (SUPP) Senadin branch office yesterday in support of the campaign.
