SIBU: Party Bangsa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) president Bobby William said the party is in the process of restructuring to make it relevant following its reinstatement on August 18.

“We will start afresh and we believe in time to come, we will become a force to be reckoned with in the political arena,” he told a press conference yesterday afternoon after the party held its first Supreme Council meeting following the reinstatement.

He also revealed that they would be going round the state to revive all its branches and sub-branches in both the southern, central and northern regions.

On the party’s potential candidates for the coming State election, Bobby said that would be left to Gabungan Sarawak (Gasak), their coalition partner, to announce.

Gasak comprises five local political parties: Sarawak Independence Alliance (SIA), Parti Aspirasi Rakyat Sarawak (Aspirasi), Sarawak Workers Party (SWP), Sarawak for Sarawakians (S4S) and PBDSB.

Bobby said he himself will be contesting in Senadin.

He added that the party machinery will be fully prepared for the big battle ahead.
