In Sarawak, the new Mr DIY stores are located at Sentosa Parade and Siburan Square, while the new Mr Toy stores are at The Spring Bintulu and Vivacity Megamall.

Mr DIY vice president of Marketing Andy Chin said positive customer feedback on the nationwide grand opening of new stores in July prompted a similar event for the opening of these 33 new stores this weekend.

“The Mr DIY retail concept is rooted in quality essential goods and products at reasonable  prices, supported by unique product assortment, first-rate store design and effective  customer services, offering Malaysians from all walks of life great value-for-money in line with our motto of ‘Always Low Prices’.

“I’m excited to welcome customers to the new Mr DIY, Mr Toy and Mr Dollar stores near them to enjoy great savings and the chance to get complimentary giveaways,” he said.

Customers can shop safely as these stores comply with safety guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and National Security Council.

These include temperature check on staff and customers prior to entry; mandatory use of face masks for staff and customers; limiting the number of customers at any one time; physical distancing measures; regular sanitisation of products, items and store areas.
