MARUDI: A wild monkey that lost its way and ended up at Rumah Michael Selangkor at Sg Brit about 23 km from here was caught by a special team from the Fire and Rescue
(Bomba) station here yesterday morning.
The station despatched the team led by senior Officer 11 Iskandar Aus to Rumah Michael Selangkor upon receiving a call from the longhouse
residents that the monkey was aggressive and endangering their safety.
They said the monkey hid between two blocks of the longhouse.
It was successfully trapped by the Bomba team and was later released at its natural habitat in the jungle at KM25 along Jalan Marudi-Lubok Nibong.
