BSN Sibu branch closed until Jan 31 after staff tests positive for Covid-19

SIBU (Jan 18): Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Sibu branch is closed starting today until Jan 31 after one of its staff was tested Covid-19 positive.

The bank said in a statement yesterday that its Sibu branch is closed for sanitisation process.

“Therefore, all operations including the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) at this branch will be temporarily halted.

“We understand our customers’ needs during this challenging time,” it stated in a statement posted on its website.

BSN urged customers who need to perform their banking needs to visit BSN Sibujaya branch of utilise the internet banking myBSN.

It added cash withdrawals can also be made at any MEPS ATMs, whereby aRM1 fee for interbank cash withdrawal transactions at all ATMs has been waived for the time being.
