KOTA KINABALU: The State Government has advised those who had recently visited the Courts Malaysia premises in Kubota Central, Tawau, to promptly undergo Covid-19 tests.

“Members of the public who visited the Courts Malaysia premises in Kubota Central, Mukim Sri Tanjung Tawau, between March 22 until April 3, are required to go to the nearest clinics  to undergo Covid-19 screening,” said State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun.

He pointed out that the recent spike in Sabah’s Covid-19 cases was caused by social gatherings such as weddings, ‘kenduri’ ceremonies and other social events.

In view of this, Masidi said that the State Government would soon develop an app that would enable the public to register ceremonies.
