Gleneagles KK to set up Covid-19 vaccination centre

KOTA KINABALU: Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu is the first private hospital in Sabah to set up a Covid-19 vaccination centre within its premises, in support of the Ministry of Health’s national vaccination programme.

The hospital is ready to inoculate around 500 members of the local community in Sabah weekly, beginning June 7.

Dr Tan Bee Hwai, Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu, said, “We are honoured to be supporting the Ministry of Health’s Covid-19 national vaccination programme. We are committed to deploy our resources to support the MoH with mass vaccinations and safeguard the health and safety of the local community. Let us protect ourselves and our loved ones by getting vaccinated.”

The vaccination centre will operate Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm. Appointments for the vaccination are set via the MySejahtera app.
