KUCHING (June 5): Kuching South City Council (MBKS) is allowing private general practitioner (GP) clinics under its jurisdiction to use parking bays at their premises for those getting Covid vaccination.

In a statement yesterday, the council said it is aware that some private GP clinics have been approved for Covid vaccination.

“The Council is pro-active in facilitating ample space for the convenience of the public at these clinics,” it stated.

Kuching South mayor Dato Wee Hong Seng went to the ground yesterday to survey parking bays where canopies may be put up for registration and as waiting areas.

“The Council will play its role to the best of its capability to facilitate the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to ensure that the people of Sarawak are sufficiently and properly inoculated,” it added.
