Covid-19: 661 new cases in Sarawak as Malaysia records 5,293 cases

KUCHING (June 20): Sarawak recorded 661 new Covid-19 positive cases today, bringing its cumulative number of cases to 59,800.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a Facebook post said the state’s latest figure was the third highest in the country behind Selangor and Negeri Sembilan which recorded 1,680 and 693 cases respectively.

New cases were also recorded in Johor with 627 cases followed by Kuala Lumpur (379), Perak (205), Melaka (183), Kedah (170), Kelantan (167), Sabah (163),

Labuan (156), Penang (114), Pahang (77), Terengganu (12), Putrajaya (4) and Perlis (2).

Malaysia recorded 5,293 cases today, bringing the cumulative total of positive cases to 696,408 cases nationwide.
