KUCHING (July 2): Over two thousand members of Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) and Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) will get their first Covid-19 vaccine dose this weekend in a joint vaccination exercise.
The joint effort will be held at the industrial vaccination centre at The Spring Shopping Mall here from today until Sunday.
SCCI and SBF president Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Datuk Abang Openg said that they are pleased that through the joint effort, a total of over two thousand members will get their first Covid-19 vaccine dose.
“We are grateful to The Spring Shopping Mall for this vaccination centre and we are glad to be able do our part in this corporate social responsibility activity for our members and for the community in accelerating the state’s immunisation plan towards achieving herd immunity,” he said.
Aside from SCCI and Sheda, other participating members from SBF are Sarawak ICT Association (SICTA) and Sarawak Entrepreneur Association (SEA).
The exercise is expected to sees about 900 members getting vaccinated daily over the three days.
