Kampung Mambong in Kuching among seven localities placed under EMCO

KUCHING (July 6): Seven localities in five districts have been placed under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) including Kampung Mambong here, the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said.

It said in its Covid-19 daily update that the village will be under EMCO for two weeks starting tomorrow (July 7) until July 20.

“Also placed under EMCO from tomorrow onwards are Rh Anita, Balai Badak, Kampung Klampai and Rh Abing, Lubuk Kerikap, Sebetan in Saratok until July 20; and Rh Luing, Sg Pama Gerugu Nyelong in Sarikei until July 23,” it said.

It also pointed out that the ‘Bilik Sewa’ above Happy Cafe at Bernama Commercial Centre in Bintulu was placed under EMCO starting yesterday (July 5) until July while the EMCO for Rh Nugu, Kerubong Selalang in Sarikei and Rh Lidom, Nanga Enseluai in Julau starts from today until July 22.

In addition, it said the EMCO for Kampung Po Ai in Sri Aman has been extended for another week starting tomorrow (July 7) until July 13.

Meanwhile, the committee also announced that the EMCO for 14 localities in six districts have been lifted today.

They are Rumah Sewa Beverly Hills, Ling Hock Transport Sdn Bhd Quarters, Rh Sebat anak Agang, KM5, Jalan Samarakan, Ulu Segan, ‘Bilik Sewa’ above Hii Auto Service Centre, Medan Jaya, and Union Engineering (Signa Jaya) Quarters in Bintulu; Rh Edwin Engkulau anak Jelani, Nanga Belungai in Tatau; Rh Jawa, Sungai Selangan in Sarikei; Rh Jampang, Kampung Munggu Sawa, Lingga, Rh Wilson Bana, Kampung Po Ai, Rh Mara, Gran C, Tanjung Bijat, Rh Andrew, Kampung Nanga San, Rh Darwin, Kampung San Demam in Sri Aman; Kampung Sadong Jaya Laut in Asajaya; and Kampung Gawang in Simunjan.
