KUCHING (Nov 17): A kitten named Midas, which was born with two sets of ears, has become an Instagram darling with over 56,000, since her owner set up an account last month.
Hailing from Turkey, the four-month-old Russian Blue has four ears due to a genetic mutation, the Daily Mail reported.
One set of Midas’ ears are normal, while the other smaller set pokes out in the front.
Her owner Canis Dosemeci told Daily Mail Midas has been checked by a vet and can hear perfectly.
However, the kitten will undergo further checks in the next few months to ensure there are no other genetic mutations.
To add to her adorable looks, Midas also has a patch of white hair on her torso that is shaped like a heart.
She spends her time playing, napping, and cuddling with the family’s two Labradors, Suzy, 12, and Zeyno, 14.
