Covid-19: Four deaths recorded in Sarawak on Nov 17 – SDMC

MIRI (Nov 19): Sarawak recorded four deaths from Covid-19 on November 17, with three in Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and one in Sibu Hospital, said the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).

According to SDMC in its daily Covid-19 update today, the deceased were aged between 53 and 91, with all having comorbidities.

One death from Samarahan involved a 63-year-old man with hypertension, diabetes and a heart disease, who died in SGH.

Two more deaths in SGH that day involved a 91-year-old man who had hypertension and diabetes, while the other was a 66-year-old woman with hypertension, diabetes, final stage kidney disease and a heart disease.

Sibu also recorded one death that day involving a 53-year-old woman with obesity, who died in Sibu Hospital.
