KOTA KINABALU (Nov 30): Sabah recorded 401 new Covid-19 cases on Nov 30, with Kota Kinabalu topping the list.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said 30 out of 53 cases in Kota Kinabalu are sporadic which is worrying.

“A total of 18 districts in Sabah today recorded an increase with six of them recording a relatively high number.

“Five districts recorded a decrease but only Kinabatangan district recorded a significant decrease of 70 cases compared to yesterday,” he said on Tuesday.

Almost 97 per cent of the daily cases in Sabah are in Categories 1 and 2 which only require treatment and monitoring at home or at PKRC.

Four patients in Category 3, four patients in Category 4 and one patient in Category 5.

Four other patients are still under further evaluation by the Health Department.
