KOTA KINABALU (May 14): The overall situation of Covid-19 infections in Sabah has stabilised after the state recorded almost 37 per cent increase in new cases two days ago.

Sabah Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun said that 51 cases were recorded today compared to 78 cases yesterday.

He also said that 19 districts have a ‘clean’ record as they did not have any cases in the last 24 hours.

“Fourteen districts recorded a decrease in the daily infection cases while four districts recorded an increase in the number of cases reported,” said Masidi.

Kota Kinabalu remained the only district with two digit cases at 25, said Masidi, adding that Papar with only nine cases today is now in the group of districts recording single digit cases.

Cases in Semporna remained at nine, he added.

All 51 cases reported today are in Categories 1 and 2 only.
