KUCHING (Aug 24): The Federation of Kuching and Samarahan Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section, Sarawak collected 132 pints of blood during its donation campaign for the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) on Sunday.
Supported by Sarawak Lungsi Association Youth Section and Hope Church, the campaign, which was held at the hospital’s blood bank, drew 146 participants.
The campaign assisted by the Malaysian Red Crescent Kuching Chapter was in response to SGH’s call for more blood donors as well as to create awareness among the general public of the noble deed of saving lives through blood donation.
