SIBU (March 23): Police believe they have solved at least seven housebreaking cases here following the arrests of three suspects.
Sibu police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaihi said the suspects are aged between 25 and 28.
He said the housebreaking cases were reported from Feb 15 to March 19, 2023.
“All the suspects also have past criminal records for burglary, theft, and drug abuse,” he said in a statement.
Zulkipli said several items believed to have been stolen from the housebreakings were also confiscated from the suspects.
He added the case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
