KUCHING (March 25): All of Jalan Sultan Tengah from the Yayasan Sarawak roundabout to Santubong will be affected by water supply disruption on March 29 (Wednesday), said the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB).

“The disruption will occur between 9am to 5pm.

“It is to make way for the contractor to conduct testing on the pump and high-level tank in Samariang,” the department said in a scheduled work notice.

It added that during that period, consumers in the area may experience low water pressure or dirty water.

Consumers are advised to store sufficient water for use during the disruption period.

The department said it will ensure the water supply is restored as soon as possible to the affected areas.

Any inconvenience is much regretted, it said.
