SERIAN (Nov 23): The police are actively searching for four suspects allegedly involved in a house robbery in Kampung Panchor Dayak, Batu 29, earlier today.
Serian police chief DSP Neil Beginda confirmed in a statement that the authorities received a report of the incident at 1.48am.
“Investigations revealed that four men broke into the house by cutting the front gate and entering through a window,” he said.
Items reported stolen include cash, jewellery, house keys, a laptop, ATM cards, an identification card, a driving licence, a car key, and dry food items, with a total estimated loss of approximately RM40,700.
The case is being investigated under Sections 395 and 397 of the Penal Code, which carry penalties of up to 20 years in prison, along with possible fines or whipping upon conviction, said Neil.

As the police continue their search for the four suspects, Neil urged anyone with information to come forward to the nearest police station or contact investigating officer Insp Rizal Nante at 082-874204.
