MIRI (Jan 24): MyDobi recorded a momentous chapter in 2024, solidifying its status as a leader in the laundry industry with two prestigious awards and outstanding recognition.
On Nov 8, MyDobi received the Superbrands Award at a grand ceremony held in Petaling Jaya.
This global recognition highlights MyDobi’s reputation as a trusted and innovative brand delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
The awards were presented by Superbrands Malaysia director Mike English and Public Relations Practitioners Society of Malaysia chairman Datuk P Kamalanathan to MyDobi founders Sheila Sim and Hong Heng How.
“Getting this award is not just about us, it belongs to all of us. We are honoured to be the first Sarawak company to achieve the Superbrands Award, making Sarawak proud. We hope this inspires other local businesses to offer quality products and services,” said CEO and co-founder Sim.
Sim pointed out that only 45 companies received the Superbrands Award and MyDobi stood out as the sole recipient from the laundry industry.

Adding to its accolades, MyDobi also received the Consumers’ Choice Award (CCA) on Dec 19 during an event hosted by the National Consumer Action Council (MTPN) in Kuching.
Present at the event were Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and Ukas) Datuk Abdullah Saidol, MTPN Sarawak chairman Wynson Ong Teck Ping, and MTPN national deputy president for International Policy and Strategy Masrudi Abdul Rahman.
The award recognised MyDobi’s outstanding contributions to the community and industry, guiding Malaysian consumers toward informed service choices.
