SARIKEI: The eagerly awaited Sarikei Open Sepak Takraw championship jointly organised by Sarikei Divisional Sepak Takraw Association (PSTBS) and the Ministry of Social Development (KPS) has been scheduled to be held here from Dec 14 till 16.
“The tournament is open to all teams in the state but each team is only allowed to register two players who had played in state, national and Sukma tournaments since 2010,” informed PSTBS chairman Ismail Pahari.
“Entry fee is RM100 per team. Interested teams are required to register their participation by December 10, the latest. Entry forms and further information are available from Shamsol Sharkawi at 011-18000041, Fyza Sebli at 013-8115165 or Wan Zainalabidin Wan Hussainie at 019-8984567.
Apart from the Tanjung Manis MP Datuk Hajah Norah’s Challenge trophy, the three-day tournament also offers attractive cash prizes to the winners.
