KUCHING: Stalls at the Ramadhan bazaar near Stutong Market will open for application from May 31 to June 14.
Kuching South City Council (MBKS) councillor and chairwoman for the bazaar Hairiah Idris said 129 stalls including those for beverages would be set up this year.
The fee will be RM180 per stall, an increase from RM150 last year, she added.
“The bazaar will open from noon to 10pm daily from July 10 to August 7.
“We will also be distributing ‘bubur lambuk’ starting at 3.30pm on July 20,” she told the press after attending the MBKS full council meeting yesterday.
The agenda of the meeting, chaired by MBKS mayor Dato James Chan, comprised signing of minutes of the 40th meeting of the 18th council held on April 25 this year and presentation of papers on report of the 17th meeting of the standing committee for traffic and works, and report of the 39th meeting of the standing committee for finance and establishment.
