MIRI: The Chinese community in Long Lama must stay within Barisan Nasional (BN) so as to continue long-term development there.

In giving this reminder, Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau said this is because all the present development projects
the people enjoy there were brought by the BN government.

“I hope the Chinese in Long Lama will continue to work together with BN for the benefit of Telang Usan,” Dennis said during one of his Chinese New Year visits to Chinese leaders in Long Lama yesterday.

He mentioned Long Lama bridge, waterfront, clinic, district office and the Miri-Long Lama road and many other development projects as examples of progress brought by BN.

Telling the people that supporting BN would benefit them, he said the ruling coalition had many long-term plans to improve their livelihood.

Therefore, he urged the Chinese community in Long Lama to give their solid support to BN and himself as their State Assembly representative so that they can enjoy continuous development.

“I am willing to work hard for Telang Usan and ever since I become YB of Telang Usan the people have been enjoying many development projects,” he stressed.

Dennis visited Penghulu Desmond Yap, Kapitan Yeo Kee Siang and other Chinese leaders to convey his Chinese New Year greetings.

Accompanying him were Cr Charles Balan Seling, Cr Jok Ngau, PBB Telang Usan Youth chief TK Lucia Paya Long San and Long Lama Clinic medical officer Dr John Danawei.
