SIBU: In the 1st Malaysian Quality Evaluation Systems for Private Colleges (MYQuest), an evaluation carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education, it awarded Methodist Pilley Institute (MPI) a 3-star rating in the overall college category, depicting a good performance.
The results were: (1) College-based score – 3-star; (2) Cluster-based score: Education (Diploma in ECE) – 4-star, Social Sciences, Business & Law – 4-star (Diploma in Accounting & Business Management, ACCA, CAT), Science, Mathematics & Computing – 4-star (Diploma in Computer Science) (3) International Students Readiness Criteria – 3-star.
Out of 400 active colleges in Malaysia, only 210 qualified to be rated. The MPI was among the 131 colleges that scored at least 3-star rating or above.
This result serves as an assurance to potential students and their parents that MPI is one of the best private higher learning institutions with rigorous programmes to prepare their students for further studies or employment.
